On xp, I can set the window size, but when I reopen it, it always goes back to full size.
Any fix?

Hi wright3279, welcome back.

Is this for all programs or one specific program? I ask this since having Maximized selected in the Run box of the Properties window for a programs will override your sizes and always launch it in a full window.

Normally, once you resize a window then close it, XP remembers the size and opens it the same next time. Unfortunately, XP also forgets this at times.

If you resize the window the way you want it then hold down the Ctrl key and click on File then Close, that usually gets XP to remember it next time.
