I need to cut and paste on outlook express 5/6.My operating system is XP>When I go to select<cut>it is grayed out.So,how do I cut and paste on email?

Try highlighting the text and pressing the control key and c (copy), then place your cursor where you want the text to appear and press control and v (paste). The Cut command (also reached by control and x) may be grayed out because the region is not considered to be "editable".

The "cut" command is only available where its able to actually remove the text from the area you're in. Where this is not possible but the text is selectable you'll be able to "copy" it.
