Hi. So one of our managers is having an issue with her laptop, where after a couple hours of usage everything stops responding and locking up. Nothing will work, no links can be clicked on, just nothing responds.

When you open the start bar and try to open a program from the programs list, it will highlight the name, but it won't click it, no right clicking either. Any office programs, or SQL that happens to be open stop responding also. The only thing that fixes it is a restart, and that only temporary.

Also, it is on a docking station, but that doesn't seem to be the problem, as last night, I undocked it after it had frozen up, but not before it was restarted, and when I opened the laptop, everything worked fine. So I replaced the docking station thinking that might be it, but it's happening again today. I even replaced the mouse and put it in a different USB port hoping that might be the problem.

Should I try uninstalling/reinstalling the drivers for the usb ports?

Any ideas?
