whenever i would try to scan my computer for viruses, it a pop up would appear stating that an error has occured in the script of the page

it would like something like this

Which version of nav are you using?
you can try reinstalling windows script 5.6 for your OS which can be downloaded from the link

try installing script and see if you get the same problems.
