Your batch file is a great tutorial for anyone wanting to learn how to write them. It has most of the cool things you can do in a batch file all in one place. Hmmm, I wonder if it could/should become a pinned topic somewhere?

I would like to learn how to write batch files, and script, But I know I am not in the big league, so it would have to be "batch files for dummy's".

I wouldn't consider myself being a "big league" batch programmer either, but I'll keep these considerations in mind when I do work something up. :)

What about tossing it into the lounge and having a Single Batch file as a Class thread :), let everyone who wants to expand on it and comment the heck out of it?
