Restart your computer and boot into Safe Mode (if you don't know how, go to http://www.bleepingc...showtutorial=61 ). Make sure to close any internet browsers that may still be open.

Uninstall the following via the Add/Remove Panel (Start->Settings->Control Panel->Add/Remove Programs) if found:

overland - unless you know what this is for, uninstall it

Run a scan in HijackThis. Check each of the following if they still exist and hit 'Fix Checked' after you checked the last one:

O2 - BHO: (no name) - {333F69F0-8011-889D-4917-FB8DCE5680CD} - (no file)
O23 - Service: MicroSoft Media Tools - Unknown owner - C:\WINDOWS\MSmedia.exe

Go to Start->Run and type in services.msc and hit OK. Then look for MicroSoft Media Tools and double click on it. Click on the Stop button.

Go into HijackThis->Config->Misc Tools->Delete an NT service and type in MicroSoft Media Tools and hit OK.

Locate the following Files/Folders and delete them if they exist (if no location given, just do a search for them):

C:\Program Files\WinBudget
C:\WINDOWS\system32\bak
C:\Program Files\Overland - unless you know what this is for, delete it
C:\WINDOWS\MSmedia.exe

Restart the computer.

1. Download combofix at http://www.techsuppo...Bs/ComboFix.exe or http://download.blee...Bs/ComboFix.exe
2. Double-click combofix.exe & follow the prompts.
3. When finished, it will produce a log for you. Post that log in your next reply.

Note:
Do not click on combofix's window while it's running. That may cause it to stall.

Post a new HijackThis log here.
