Slow dvd burn speeds

I need HELP! All of the sudden my dvd burner is giving me super slow burn speed, less than 1.0x.

I have used this drive plenty and everything was working fine until today. I tried burning a dvd with alcohol 120 and it took about 90 minutes. It normally takes around 12. I then tried to transcode a movie and the burn took longer than the transcoding.

Also, when i used to put a blank disc in the auto-play prompt would pop up. Now....Nothing.

Any Ideas?

Edit: Now my other dvd burner wont burn dvds either. Not slow speed , just nothing at all. it will read dvds just no burn. also, no auto play either
