Hey all. Could use a little help here. My bf's mom is trying to scan negatives using her HP F340 which I gather isn't capable of doing such. She mentioned something about a transparency materials adapter. Does anyone have any suggestions or tricks on how to go about scanning negs or has anyone heard of this adapter?
I was thinking of telling her to just sell the all-in-1 she has and buy one capable of scanning negatives since she's big on recording family history (incl photos, etc.). Thanks in advance.

Thanks SRX660 for the help. Dashed off an email to let her know. Am sure I'll be helping her l-d (she, CO; me, PA) with the image settings, but at least this will get her started and save some $$$.
