Hi,
Am trying to install a Digital Photo Frame. When I insert the setup disc in my desktop I got the message that it would only run on W98, so, off to my old laptop.
When trying to run the disc on that, I get the following messages when I click install driver :
1. Please unplug the USB pen disk first.
There is nothing plugged in!!! When I click OK I get the next message :
2. Copy INF file error.
Could someone try and point me in the right direction please as I am fast losing the will to live and have exhausted my minimal computer knowledge!

Hi nessa1422, welcome to Geeks to Go!

I have a feeling that Windows XP would most probably pick up the photo frame fine and you would only need the drivers setup disc if you use Windows 98. Try plugging it into your normal computer (without the setup disc) and see if Windows XP picks it up.

Perhaps you can post a link to the exact make / model photo frame you have? Find the manufacturer's webpage, if you can.

Let us know how you go with that.

Thanks for that.
Comp doesn't find the device and when I open the photoviewer that did install from the disc, I get the message :
Please plug in your photo keychain and make sure the device is in update mode - when it is already plugged in.
Will have a look and find the manufacturer as you suggested and let you know.

Hi,
Have looked at the frame, disc and all the paperwork and not a manufacturer name in site. Got it from China so not sure where to go from here.
Defo not showing up at all on any of my machines so wonder if anyone has any other ideas for me?
