Everything seemed fine until just now, when I opened Sonic DigitalMedia and put in a blank CD to back something up. Windows Installer instantly popped up again, about ten times in a row -- this time it's trying to install Paint Shop Pro, which is already installed. This is the same thing that was going on with the HP program. Any idea why Windows Installer keeps trying to install programs that are already installed?

I have no idea, you would be better off posting in the Windows XP forum

Any more questions or shall we close the thread ?
