Audio Driver update question

Hey, I was just wondering if I should download the newest driver, the UNINSTALL my old one, before INSTALLING the new version? Or if I can be lazy and just update =S

Depends. Sometimes you can upgrade, sometimes you can't.
General rule of thumb: Uninstall, restart, reinstall new driver. However if you do choose to upgrade, you can always roll the driver back to the old one.
