Every time I restart my computer, the windows installer pops up, and alternates between windows installer and upgrade manager, I have tried to let it run to see what it is, figguring I could just delete it if I needed to, but it won't install. It won't let me cancell either. If I cancel it, it just pops back up again, and I have to hit cancel like, a dozen or more times to get it to quit. It's getting aggravating. The problem started when on Friday, when I installed a new network card, but I allso got cable ISP for the first time on friday as well, so Im not really sure which the problem is comming from, if either of those.
Any help would be appretiated.
Thanks in advance ~ Danny

Hello Danny and welcome to Geeks to Go!

I suggest you go to the Malware Forum and run all the steps located in the START HERE. These self-help tools will help you clean up 70% of problems on your own. If you are still having problems after doing the steps, then please post a HiJackThis Log in THAT forum. If you are unable to run and/or post a HJT log, then post that in your initial post in the topic you create in that forum.

If you are still having problems after being given a clean bill of health from the malware expert, then please return to THIS thread and we will pursue other options to help you solve your current problem(s).

Regards,

Ax
