For the past few days when I go to turn off my computer I see a shuting down
TRDww message. What is this and how do I get rid of it????

That's a bad program that was in the error message. It was added as a result of the ASTEF or RESPAN VIRUSES! Let's delete it. Reboot in safe mode (by tapping F8 at startup and select safe mode from the menu). Be sure you're able to view hidden files and folders, and remove the following files in bold:

C:\WINNT\System32\windll32.exe <-- This File

I couldn't find any info on this file:
C:\WINNT\ctccw.exe

It could possibly be a virus like the first. Update AVG and run a full system scan to see if it turns up with anything.

Next, please go offline, close all browsers and any open Windows, making sure that only HijackThis is open. Scan and when it finishes, put an X in the boxes, only next to these following items, then click fix checked.

The problem with TRd ww is caused by a conflict of the accelerated recording mode of Total Recorder (highcriteria.com) with other programs. Disabling this setting in Total Recording (Options, Settings, System tab, Restrictions) and a reboot will solve your problem.
