temo,
What kind of computer do you have? I have found some threads that indicate this is a problem with HP computers and bluetooth add-ins. Beyond that, I haven't been able to find any additional information.

I sure have not had any issues with Excel 07 in my HP. (maybe im fortunate)
My first thought was that it is a macro issue. But other than that I am just not sure what the deal is.
Are you trying to open an actual file or are you just opening Excel to a new blank spreadsheet?
If it is a file, what is the actual extension of the file?
Have you ever been able to open Excel since you installed it?

PsychPosse
It worked for awhile after the first time I upgrade from 2003 to 2007. I tried it with opening a document and also tried it with just opening to a blank spreadsheet

hmm.. strange.
When you updated, did you first uninstall 2003? (shouldn't matter but you never know)
When you reinstalled 07, did you uninstall the previous version?
If not, try that. Uninstall Office completely and then reinstall it.

Yes I uninstalled 2003 and ran the Windows_Installer Cleanup Utility and then installed office 2007.
