ok so i am usually on gaming before school and i was fine this morning. NOW i get home, start my computer and my ping is 650!! what the heck happend!

i have road runner and use the pcx2600 computer modem but how can i get it down to 32 again! help i cannot play any games because it does this!(kicked from servers).

help this extermely urgent

power off your router and then power back on. This may require unplugging the power. Also reboot your computer. Make sure you don't have any unnecessary applications running in the background.
