I posted about this problem awhile ago. I start up my computer, then it begins to boot windows on the loading screen with the loading bar. It continues on that screen for a good 3 mins and freezes up. Before I had gotten a few blue screen error messages but after a few reboot trys it just magically wanted to work. So I left it alone for abit [forgot about it] and yesterday I go on and try to start it and it freezes at the screen. Im in safe mode right now looking at eventvwr.msc so I can get the error messages.

Well I went into the event viewer and i click on system, it then says this file is corrupt and it shows no errors. Any suggestions other than sys restore?

Don't worry about Dcom issues, most of the others are related to networking...if you are in safe mode, they will occur..

This one:
An error was detected on device \Device\Harddisk0\D during a paging operation.
-disk error [alot]

Not good--
How many harddrives?

Ok I did it once already [in safe mode] and i hit Y to restart and then it restarts and freezes on the log in screen like before.

Should I create a bootdisk with chkdsk on it? http://support.micro...om/?kbid=309000

Yeah still nothing happend. I think its somthing with the network because i can get into safe mode, but not with networking. And those error messages had to do with networking. So im going to try somthing and reply back.
