Hi there,

The items you purchase usually come with instructions for each part, these are very handy to follow.

Plenty of how-to guides out there, have a look at some.

In particular, this one looks pretty good to me.

Cheers

Troy

EDIT: If, when following through the guide, you get stuck and have a specific question, feel free to ask away :)

SECOND EDIT: The most important thing to have handy (when building a PC) is patience. Take it easy.

Save yourself some trouble and drop the Artic Silver grease. The difference between it and the what comes on the heatsink is nearly indistinguishable. Also because AS is metalic based if it gets in your socket that is basically it for your MOBO. With the preapplied grease on the stock HSF you don't have to worry about that or the mess. If you were getting an aftermarket cooler with plans on overclocking then things would be different.

If you don't mind mailing in a rebate you can get this PSU (which is higher quality) for the same price as the OCZ: http://www.newegg.co...N82E16817139004.

If you are in to gaming that 8600GT probably isn't going to cut it.

Edit: What is the price on that RAM? Crucial Ballistix series RAM is usually faily expensive due to it's overclocking ability. You may be able to get by with something cheaper.

What OS do you plan on using?
