I need help bad Please!
My PC Crashed....I was trying to install Windows XP Professional all was going well until I tried to install my linsky wireless card. Then when I rebooted the PC I received a message
"verifying DMI pool Data.....
Boot from Cd...
Boot from Cd...
Disk boot failure.Insert system disk and press enter"

I installed Microsoft Windows Xp Professional disk and I recieve the same above message. When I install the microsoft recovery disks from my Dell Pc its starts to reinstall Windows. Please Help me!

Ps...
When I try to change the order of my boot sequence it always goes back to boot from CD... Even when I save it to my Cmos This is a generic PC its an A open.

Try the following:
  • Power off
  • Remove CMOS battery
  • Unplug power cord
  • Press and hold the power button for 15 seconds or so
That will reset the CMOS. Power on and go to BIOS Setup and load defaults.
Set date and time and boot order (CD then HD).

Boot your XP CD and see if it starts normally. If yes, do a Clean Install
