One Video Card run 3 moniters?

Ok this is a last resort... i looked around with google and everyone is talking about just going with two cards. i currently have two 20" flat panel monitors on this computer here. and i found an adapter to hook up a third all to the same card.. i just wanna know if it would work or not... my card has 3 outputs.. one is for a tv witch is the one not being used. but found an adapter to plug in a monitor.. so does anyone know if this is posible? and if noone nos then should i even try it?

What video card? Most don't support 3, when used with s video witch I think is the tv connection you refer to you can then only have 1 monitor connected, check the documentation that came with the card or go to the card manufactuers website and get the manual. Normally you can only connect 2
