my friend just recintly put in a new grapics card to replace the intagrated one and now there is no start menu button. How do i get it back for him?

If it is indeed a problem related to the video drivers, here is some supporting information:

Try to roll back your driver. open the device manager, display adaptors, and unistall the latest driver. shut off the comp, remove the video adaptor you installed, move the video monitor cable to the motherboard video connection. start comp going into the bios and set it to use the previous video adaptor from on the motherboard. save your settings, reboot.

then see if you get your start bar back.
