hi--for the last couple of weeks, my browser shuts down with no error messages or warnings when i click on some links. i upgraded my IE from 6 to 7, same problem. i tried firefox 2.0, same problem. i've run several a/v programs and anti-spyware; one claimed to have found a trojan which was deleted (easy spyremover), but i still have this problem.

the browser shuts down when i try to upload photos to a photo printing site, do an online application, or other things that i need to get done. but other links work ok, so i don't know what the trick is!

i've also tried running hijackthis but this is where things get way beyond me. any input would be greatly appreciated!!!

this is the logfile i get:

You should post the HijackThis log in the "Malware Removal" forum. Much better in text format and not as a download.

thanks for the reply--i saw the instructions for hijack reports after i'd already posted. but actually i think i fixed the problem--it seems that my java was corrupted somehow. i uninstalled all my java stuff and then reinstalled it, and now things are working fine. (i knew it would end up being something simple.) thanks anyway.
