Suddenly a white tint has appeared on my monitor(CRT) screen, along with some white lines. What could be the problem?
Also, some kind of spark appears in the middle of the screen when the power is turned off.

You could try manually degaussing it (look in the monitor options menu, usually accessed by the buttons on the front of your monitor). Otherwise I would say its time for a new monitor. There's a good chance that its just old and tired :)

Degaussing didn't help. I shall buy a new monitor soon. Thank you very much. :)
