My post was answered by CBHendricks concerning dvd problems .Any one else who has an Hp can go here for updates.

Allthough I have all the current updates I can not install my new dvd. With things changing to the 8 hr dvds some computers that are hp will not be able to use them, also hp plans not to do anything about this. Still if you need different software and drivers they should be kept up to date. I appreciate the help I got.
