I have a pop up screen that says "You've got a pest installed deep in the operating system, and we can't remove it without your help. You'll need to install the Windows Recovery Console from your Windows CD: see http://research.pestpatrol.com/HowTo/Recov...Clean.asp". Whenever you click the OK button, the system just restarts - every time! I tried to insert the blue Operating System disk and it still doesn't fix the problem. Any suggestions?

Welcome to Geeks2Go, cmat.

Your link didn't open the page indicated in the url so was of no use. I haven't come across this error message before but I'm guessing you have Pestpatrol installed and the error message is coming from that. My advice is to submit a 'HijackThis' log to this section of Geeks2Go:
http://www.geekstogo...o-Here-f37.html

You can get HijackThis from here: http://www.spywarein....php#hijackthis

Please post the log only to the section of Geeks2Go which deals with these logs, as indicated above.
