First indication were web re-directs. I did the Online Windows Scan and it indicated Vundo.....mcra.dll?? Or something.
Tried to Symantec Scan, and the Scan Engine is either disabled or was deleted???

Loaded the AVG for protection.
and Super Spyware per recommendations on "read this first" forum page.
No help.

I just recently used the ATF cleaner, and restarted.

Thank You sooo much for your help.

Quick update since I posted: I removed ATF Scanner, and Superspyware, and was able to reload Symantec to restore the scan engine.

I disabled the autoprotect and did the Combo Fix Scan, after reboot it said something like, "Could not find file" or similar, and continued to

Didn't hear back for a while so I ran the Windows Live - One Care Safety Scanner and it reported that I had "Trojan: Win32/Boaxxe.B"

Which is what it found 2 weeks ago.

Should I post another Hijack this Log for you?
I really appreciate your help. None of the other scans can find nor remove the problem.

• The program will launch and then begin downloading the latest definition files:

• Now click on Scan Settings
• In the scan settings make that the following are selected:
  • Scan using the following Anti-Virus database:
  Extended (if available otherwise Standard)
  
  • Scan Options:
  Scan Archives
  Scan Mail Bases
• Click OK
• Now under select a target to scan:Select My Computer
• This will program will start and scan your system.
• The scan will take a while so be patient and let it run.
• Once the scan is complete it will display if your system has been infected.

• Save the file to your desktop.
• Copy and paste that information in your next post.

The Windows Live - One Care Safety Scanner - It didn't state where the file was.
It only said that I had the Trojan: Win32/Boaxxe.B ??

I did a Trend Secure - House Call scan and it only found tracking cookies.

The Symantec Virus - Complete System Scan didn't find anything.

Still uploading the Kapersky I'll post the text when completed.

I did the scan, however when I checked My Computer, it was going to scan all of the Mapped Network (Large Server) Drives
that are connected.

Thus I stopped the scan after C: drive was completed. I'm now re-scanning using the File/Folders option and selected the C:/ drive only.
Doesn't look like it caught any files....only several "locked objects".

However since I interupted the scan when the x:/ drive was started....did it do the virus/trojan/malware scan for C:/?

Should I post a current Hijack log?

Now lets uninstall Combofix:

• Click START then RUN
• Now type Combofix /u in the runbox and click OK

The above procedure will do the following:

• Delete ComboFix and its associated files and folders.
• Delete VundoFix backups, if present
• Delete the C:\Deckard folder, if present
• Delete the C:_OtMoveIt folder, if present
• Reset the clock settings.
• Hide file extensions, if required.

"This application has failed to start because wxvault.dll was not found. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem."

Not sure why I am getting this error. I did the step on your 8:57 post Yesterday, but it didn't resolve the error?

I did some of the items you recommended for Spyware Protection.

Do you have any recommendations for fixing sluggishness of machine: registry cleaners or optimizers, or changing any settings etc.
I thought that the malware was slowing machine down....but if I'm clean then I'm wondering if some settings have changed.
I defragment regularly.....what else can I do?
