Hey,

I came across this forum when i was researching a problem of mine, the member jbarkman had the same issues.

Whenever i open a folder i get the message

'Explorer has caused an error in *.dll'
-where * can be any of SHLWAPI.dll, SHELL32.dll, BROWSEUI.dll or <unknown>

I contacted jbarkman and followed her instructions on how she fixed the prob, but it hasnt worked for me (as yet!).

I have, however recently had problems with W32.jeefo & skydevil viruses, but dont see them to be related, but have caused me to shut off sys restore so going back in time is off the cards.

Please help!!

ps - jbarkman advised me too run Ad aware, Spybot & Antispy but no luck for me and apparently his system went back to norm after scans with the above.
