recording audio with vista?

I got this computer with windows vista a few weeks ago. I went to use the ksolo.com website but i found i couldnt record the music with the microphone. I tried sound recorder, the same? I downloaded the Freecorder Toolbar Sound Recorder, it doesnt really help. The music cuts in and out, and the sound from the microphone is a lot of feedback and distorted? My audio is through Realtek HD Audio Manager. I never had this problem with Xp? can anybody help? thanks!

Have you tried updating your sound card drivers? The ones you need can be found here.
