I recently reinstalled XP on my computer and i didnt have my product key, so i had to use just a random one that wasnt valid. so i want to know what happens if you dont activate your windows account. It tells me i have 2 days left to activate it. But also, it says i need a valid product key, so if anybody has one that they can send me, please do. It would be greatly appreciated. =]

George, no one here is going to give you a key. You need to use the one that came with your CD or your computer. If you don't have either then you will have to either buy a new copy of XP ($70 - $80 retail) or call Microsoft and get a replacement key from them (around $30 I think).

If you do not activate with in 30 days (or so) Windows will no longer boot up.
You will not be able to use Windows.
