Yahoo Messenger - version 6.0 build 1922
I have tried reinstalling it over and over ...this is the problem

Once its installed it logs in fine ...has sound in the chat rooms, etc...but if I click on the smileys icons to send a smiley into the chat room window or the pm window ....it closes everything...the chatroom window, the friends list everything is gone...just disappears off my desktop...also does the same thing if I RIGHT click on the messenger list or the chat window or pm window ..on any open window of yahoo messenger...it closes everything ...please can someone help me with this? and thankyou for your time.

I'm having the same problem with Yahoo Messenger and have tried uninstalling, re-installing, and even upgrading to the latest beta version. I can't even click on *anything* within the program without it disappearing...very frustrating.

Just found the solution on another board...! Do you have WindowBlinds installed? If so, you have to configure a "per application" override and tell it to ignore YIM.
