Well, recently formatted due to corrupt OS & now this is happening..
Has happened before, but not sure how I fixed it or if I even did any to FIX it.

Sorry if this is in the wrong section? It seems to fit here.

Well, a picture is worth 1000 words :)

Hi Exploit. Welcome to Geeks2Go!

If 'G' is one of the partitions on a drive (rather than a separate physical drive) and the other partitions on that drive are okay, you may have to reformat that partition which will of course destroy all the data on 'G', but since it's corrupted and unreadable anyway you have no choice.

Go to Control Panel (classic view)->Administrative Tools->Computer Management->Disk Management
in the bottom-right pane right-click 'G' partition and choose 'Format'. From here you could instead choose 'delete partition' then create a new one and format it (using the same right-click method) if the format alone doesn't work.

If, however, 'G' is a separate physical disk it may have failed and will therefore have to be replaced.

One thing you can try before formatting it.

Click on Start then Run, type chkdsk g: /f /r and press Enter

Let chkdsk run undisturbed to completion. Can take awhile, it depends on the size of the partition/drive.
