Move network to dial up when cable is down

I have a home network set up to access the Internet through a cable modem with a router. How can I set my network up to use a dial up connection when the cable goes down? I don't want to have to reset all my settings or use ICS.

you may want to create a batch file including netsh command to swicth the deffault gateway when the cable modem goes down. this page may help, http://www.chicagotech.net/netsh.htm
