Working with a scanner, I catalog (index) the scanned images. Let's say that the first image appears with the record of a59. When the image appears, I enter a59.

Having several images, I can separate them one at a time by control/s. Also, I sometimes merge the images with control/m.

Sometimes, I wish to separate several images in a series. While holding down control/m cotinually merges images until the keys are released, control/s only seems to work for one image at a time.

Any ideas that might work to separate several images in a series?
