I'm not sure if I'm asking this where I'm supposed to be, but I figured that I'd give it a shot.

I have a Toshiba laptop. It's never been dropped, banged, hit... or anything like that. One day, these lines appeared. It starts at the top and ends at the bottom. I tried to take a screen shot of it... but the lines don't show up in the screen shot! They are always there... while I'm watching movies, when I'm typing this right now, when I'm playing games, when it's just my desktop.

Anyone have any idea what they are from... and how I can get rid of them?

I would think that ,if you can see them but you can't take a screenshot of them, the problem is with the display hardware. Could be just a loose cable. :) Do the lines come and go as you change the screen angle?
Is it still under warranty?
