Browser Won't Launch and Find Hyper-links I've Clicked.

Hello,

When I open any e-mail in Mozilla Thunderbird that has a hyper-link, and click on that link, it should launch my default Firefox browser and find/download that site......

....but it won't launch the browser. I'm presently working around it by right clicking on the link, choosing 'Copy Link Location', then opening the browser manually and paste it into the address bar. As you can imagine, it is tedious to do in several steps what should be do-able in one click.

Any help would be appreciated.
