ITUNES transfer problems

I have a new laptop and I am trying to transfer all of my music onto it, but everywhere i go it says i need to be able to open itunes on my old pc which i cant. Honestly i can not even turn on my old computer. So if anyone knows how i can get all my music from my ipod to my laptop without the use of my old computer please help!!
