Hi,
Whenever I record a game from a game console, I use the Gamebridge.
It comes with Intervideo Home Theater, and I can play anything
I already recorded there.
When I try to bring the video (.mpeg file) to Windows Movie Maker,
I press play, and nothing happens.
My system specs are:
Windows Vista Premium 32 bit, Dimension C521
Processor: AMD Athlon 64 X2 3600+ 1.90 GHz
Motherboard: Dell Inc.
Chipset: NVIDIA GeForce 6150
Southbridge: NVIDIA nForce 410/430 MCP
BIOS: Dell Inc
Version 1.1.11
Memory Type: DDR2
RAM: 3070 MB
Network Adapter: Broadcom 440x 10/100 Integrated Controller
Sound, Video, Game Controllers: SigmaTel High Definition Audio CODEC

Does anyone know how to resolve this issue?

I think you need to "import" the mpeg file into Windows Movie Maker, since mpeg is not a WMM native file format.
If you simply want to 'play' an existing mpeg file you should be using Windows Media Player instead.
WMM is not a video-player as such, it's for creating your own as a project.
