I figured it was about time to upgrade at least the RAM on this PC before I can afford other things..

Anyways, what I know is that it currently has a 256MB DDR module, PC3200. That's enough for me to search, but I got to thinking, my motherboard supports that, but will it support more?

It has free slots, but is there a way to find out for sure?

The only details I know about my motherboard is:
Board: SiS-661
Bus Clock: 133 megahertz
BIOS: Phoenix Technologies, LTD 6.00 PG 01/10/2005

Hey there Rickie. Your motherboard can support PC2700 or PC3200 DDR RAM. It can support up to 1GB of RAM in each slot, for a total of 2GB.

If you are looking to maximize the amount of memory you can have, I would recommend a kit like this.

Hope that helps.
