My laptop will not connect to the internet through the wireless connection. It will connect if I plug it directly to the modem. I have made sure the wireless connection is enabled and I tried the troubleshooting. I have no idea what else to do. I'm not sure if it would be a virus or something since the internet works when connected directly. I posted a hijackthis log but no one responded....

any help is greatly appreciated. thanks.

Hi lesleyerin, sorry no one has responded to your HJT post. I took a quick look and there is nothing there.

Did the computer ever connect wirelessly or is this something you are trying to setup for the first time?

it used to work fine. this is the first problem i have had with it. i will post in the networking forum. thanks for the response.
