Is it not a good idea to keep combo-fix installed, just incase I get Hijacked again?

Definately not!

Combofix is updated on a regular basis to include new malware varients, so only the latest version should ever be used. Additionally, running Combofix without approval from a trained advisor could damage your computer.

OK, now the best thing for you to do is to delete the version of Combofix that you have, and download a fresh version to your Desktop. You do not need to rename it this time as I know you do not have the bagle infection that targets Combofix.

Once you have downloaded it, please follow the process below.

Please re-open HiJackThis and scan. Check the boxes next to all the entries listed below.

• Double-click OTMoveIt2.exe to run it.

Return to OTMoveIt, right click on the "Paste List of Files/Folders to be moved" window and choose Paste.

• Click the red Moveit! button.
• Open Notepad, and copy everything in the Results window to the clipboard by highlighting ALL of them and pressing CTRL + C (or, after highlighting, right-click and choose copy).
• Save the Notepad file to your Desktop as OTM.txt.
• Close OTMoveIt

Note: If a file or folder cannot be moved immediately you may be asked to reboot the machine to finish the move process. If you are asked to reboot the machine choose Yes.

Please include the contents of OTM.txt in your next reply.

  • Click on this link to see a list of programs that should be disabled. The list is not all inclusive. If yours is not listed and you don't know how to disable it, please ask.

  • Close any open browsers.
  • WARNING: Combofix will disconnect your machine from the Internet as soon as it starts
  • Please do not attempt to re-connect your machine back to the Internet until Combofix has completely finished.
  • If there is no internet connection after running Combofix, then restart your computer to restore back your connection.

• Double click on Combo-Fix.exe & follow the prompts.
• When finished, it shall produce a log for you. Save this log to your desktop as Combofix.txt and post it in your next reply.

Well RatHat it is clean becuase I had to reformat, after everything was looking good, I purchased Kaspersky and it caused some serious problems. You can check my new topic i posted, i would appreciate any help with the new issue.
