I am running Win2K Professional with SP4. Got infected with braviax.exe and cru629.dat. Got a red dot with a white cross as a result. It killed my Norton AntiVirus. Now I cannot get in Windows. When I start up Windows, it will let me login but as soon as I can see all the icons on the desktop, windows will be immediately shutting down. Right now I can only get in under Safe Mode.

Using a different PC, I downloaded HijackThis onto a USB stick and transfered the software to the infected PC under Safe Mode. However, I could not run it. Double click to run and nothing happened. I also tried to run ComboFix and got an error message saying "ComboFix.exe is not a valid Win32 application".

Grateful for any help to get rid these files and get the PC back to normal.
