I randomly get redirected to the google site for ad.yieldmanager and cannot get rid of it. Can you help?
1) Ran ATF Cleaner
2) Created restore point and performed clean up
3) Ran AVG Anti-Spyware in safe-mode, only C:\Documents and Settings\Dad\Cookies\[email protected][1].txt -> TrackingCookie.Netflame : No action taken. found.
4) Ran SUPERAntiSpyware Home Edition, only Adware.Tracking Cookie
C:\Documents and Settings\Dad\Cookies\dad@2o7[1].txt found.
5) Ran Panda Activescan, nothing found.
6) Performed Windows Update

I had HJT fix/delete O2 - BHO: Browser Address Error Redirector - {CA6319C0-31B7-401E-A518-A07C3DB8F777} - C:\Program Files\BAE\BAE.dll. It seems to have fixed my problems with being redirected. I now just get an error in advertisement window of the page I am viewing.

Please download Deckard's System Scanner (DSS) and save it to your Desktop.

• Close all other windows before proceeding.
• Double-click on dss.exe and follow the prompts.
• When it has finished, dss will open two Notepads main.txt and extra.txt -- please copy (CTRL+A and then CTRL+C) and paste (CTRL+V) the contents of main.txt and extra.txt in your next reply.

you may need to post the logs over 2 replies to ensure all the information is posted.

DSS.exe keeps encountering errors when attempting to run. Do I need to run in safe-mode?

no, it should be able to run in normal mode. try this:

Click Start>Select 'Run' - then copy/paste the following text into the run box & click OK

"%userprofile%\desktop\dss.exe" /config

• Click 'Run'
• In the ensuing dialog box, uncheck 'Backing up Registry Hives'
• Click Scan!

When finished, it shall produce main.txt and extra.txt for you.

if that fails, at what point does the DSS fail to run?

Please download ComboFix from Here or Here to your Desktop.

**Note: In the event you already have Combofix, this is a new version that I need you to download. It is important that it is saved directly to your desktop**

• Close/disable all anti virus and anti malware programs so they do not interfere with the running of ComboFix.

I was running Mcafee but removed it. It did not prevent or stop the problem I was having and was putting a severe drain on my system (running extremely slow). Do you recommend something that will not slow down my system, especially when running AOL?
