For about the past 2 years I've had a file on my computer called FILE0000.PQE. There is no program on my computer that can read it, and I can't seem to be able to get rid of it. Any ideas? Thanks!

According to FileExt.com, this belongs to: Easy Recovery Recovered Data, Kroll Ontrack Inc.

If you want to delete it, try installing Unlocker.. Then right click on the file and select Delete. If it fails, allow it to be deleted on next boot.
