I just bought a new computer (finally!) last night and my old one was running Windows XP. Now that I'm running Vista, I'm noticing that pics have a lot of contrast and seem darker. I've tried adjusting the brightness and contrast but it still looks the same. Is there any way I can fix this? Or is this just the way it's gonna be?

Don't know if this will help but its worth a try:

Right click anywhere on your desktop - click Personalize - click Window Color and Appearance. See if any of the settings there help.
