I have an SP2 disk that I got from Microsoft a while back and am wanting to know if it is the same
for both/all versions of XP ... Home, Pro, Can anyone help me on this?

Yes, there is only one version of SP2.

The same principle will also apply to XP Service Pack 3 - can be installed on XP Home and Pro.

Yes, yet again. Windows will only install the parts of the service pack that pertain to your system.
