I've had the sims 2 on my computer for about one year now, but last week, my computer went crazy and i had it reprogrammed. The Sims 2 plus all my other programs were uninstalled but my mydocuments folder still was intact which meant my EA games Sims 2 folder and data is still on my computer...

my question is..how do i install the sims 2 again BUT with all my data that i still have on my computer???

i hope this question makes sense lol

Hello, and welcome to Geeks To Go.
Install your SIMS game(s) as you would normaly.
The program should see that there is a folder already created.
It may ask if you want to replace the folder with a new one, say no.
If the game creates a new folder copy your files from the old folder over to the new folder.
I am assuming that you have already restored your my documents folder.
