ventrillo problems

i use ventrillo regularly to talk to my gaming clan whilst in game.

however just recently whenever i try to talk my mic just transmits a whistling sound, i have recently installed company of heroes but i don't think that can affect this, there have been no recent hardware changes or anything, anyone have any suggestions?

try uninstalling ventrillo ...then reinstall it...

solved: i tried the mic in my webcam rather then my headset and it works, so looks like a new headset for me
