[SIZE=10][FONT=Times]I am using an IBM E74 with an AMD700 and 128 mb Ram.
OS is Windows 2000. I've recently reformatted my drive and reinstalled programs and device drivers. Now, however, the monitor setting allows only 16 colours. I have the correct .inf files but don't know how to get the computer to accept them. Have tried Control Panel\Display\Settings\advanced\Monitor and then the properties window is gray ie not available. What now? <_<

The os has loaded settings for "default monitor" not my own. I haven't been able to figure out how to change settings.
