I am considering changing to IE7, does IE7 install over IE6? Is this the correct way to do it?

Officially, it has only been possible on two occasions to have more than one version of Internet Explorer on any Windows computer. This, for anybody who reads this after finding it in Google, was during the time when Internet Explorer 5 was released, and also when Internet Explorer 5.5 was released - both of these allowed you to have Internet Explorer 4 and 5/5.5 together. Since Internet Explorer 6, this has been no longer an option and all new releases install over existing versions.
