Configuration:
Dell Dimension 8400 Tower
Processor: Intel Pentium 4 with HT Tech 3.6 GHZ, 800 FSB
Memory: 2GB Dual Channel DDR2, SDRAM @533MHZ 2X1GB
Video: 256MB PCI Express X16
Nvidia GeForce 6800 GTO Graphics Card
Monitor: Two 2005 FPW Wide Screen VGA/DVI Monitors

I have been having problems with booting up on two monitors lately, and some times i get the same desktop on both with low res.
The diag lights on the back of the tower indicate potential problem with the video card.
It some times takes up to 6 total boot up's from cold start to get a proper boot up in the right resolution.

I might have to replace the Video Card. what is a good upgrade that will function well in the tower. I assume they do not make the GeForce 6800 anymore but have newer cards.

would appreciate any suggestions as to a top quality card that would work in this config.

It might just fix my boot up problems.
