I have had trouble with viruses on my computer for a long time and not done anything until recently, when it got out of hand. I got that red wallpaper problem and could not operate my computer. Using one of your other threads, I fixed that problem. I have also run your list of programs before posting a HJT log. I still am having trouble with my computer, and so I suspect that I have not completely fixed my problems. The only noticable problems with operation right now are:
1. I can't set up a firewall. I have tried using windows firewall and the firewall options available through a version of trendmicro's pccillin that I obtained through my office. With the windows firewall, when I try to change the setting it says, 'due to an unidentified problem, your firewall settings could not be changed'
2. Similar problem with antivirus software. It installs successfully by disk and works once, but on reboot returns a message that there is other antivirus software confilicting with the operation. I do not think there is other antivirus software on my computer.
3. For some strange reason I can't seem to navigate onto your website. I can get to the homepage, but most of the links from there return only a blank page. Also I have had trouble trying to run a housecall clean from the trendmicro website.

My HJT log is below. Thanks a lot for your help.
